Catamaran Lago Pehoe
This is the info for this season of the Catamaran at Pehoe Lake. Remember that you get there at 11:00 hrs with the regular buses time to go to Salto Grande, the catamaran is very punctual on the departure. If there is too much people they would make two trips more if necessary

Yes, there is no problem there are connections with the 12:30 and the 18:30 to Puerto Natales.
Si hay conecciones con el catamaran de 12:30 y el de las 18:30.

Queremos ir al Moutain Lodge del viernes 8 de Mayo hasta el Lunes 11 de Mayo.
La final de la season es el 30 de Abril, entonces, habra un catamaran per dia o tenemos que caminar hasta el Lodge?
Si hay un catamaran, a que hora sale – ida y vuelta – para esos dias?

Van a tener que caminar hasta el Lodge, tienen la opcion de entrar por la Adminisitracion del Parque o bien llegar caminando de los Cuernos que es entrando por la porteria de laguna Amarga.
You would have to walk to the Lodge, thru Adminsitration of the Park or by Los Cuernos Refugio where you get by entering the Park in Porteria Laguna Amarga.

Hola Felipe,
El catamaran por tramo se demora aproximadamente 30 minutos, ahora cuando llega a Pehoe ( Paine Grande), se baja la gente y sube mas gente en forma inmediata a veces se demora un poco mas la parada porque se baja mercaderia para el refugio o para viajes organizados, pero son apenas 10 minutos de parada.

Yes you would have to wait until the 18:00 catamaran. The only way to get to the Lodge is by the Catamaran. From where is your private transfer?.

Is there a way to get from Administration to Laguna Amarga to catch bus to El Calafate? Do regular buses take passengers just within TDP?

Yes you can take a bus within TDP, what I know is that the bus to Calafate is in Amarga at 16:00, and the first bus to the park connect with him on the return. Just be sure to be in Amarga before 11:30 hrs.

Hola, nos gustaria ir al Refugio Grey la proxima semana pero segun investigamos no hay Ferry que cruce el lago, como se puede llegar entonces?, estariamos ahi solo por una noche, es por eso que no lo podemos hacer caminando desde hosteria Las Torres. Vamos a rentar un automovil, talvez exista otra ruta con ese medio? Gracias

Hola Florian, Complejo el como llegar ahora. Van a tener que entrar por las Torres y caminar hacia alla para despues salir por Carretas. Tratar de coordinar que dia hay un bus regular que los vaya a buscar. Pero tambien si solo quieren ver el Glaciar, podrian entrar directo por Administracion Carretas. Quizas, una sugerencia, podrian dejar el auto en Las Torres o en la Porteria de Laguna Amarga y hacer dedo hasta la adminsitracion, hacer la W y a la salida los espera el auto. Podria ser no?. Es seguro dejar el auto en la Porteria. Se “supone” que el catamaran parte ahora en el Invierno pero no lo han confirmado.

Maria Angelica, Los horarios del catamaran son los mismos que estan publicados, han sido asi los ultimos 11 años. El valor no creo que varie, aun es pronto. Desde la Hosteria al Glaciar Grey son los siguientes:
Los valores para r/t: $40.000 p/persona
o/w: $ 35.000 p/persona.
Todo esto hasta la temporada pasada, recien en Septiembre-Octubre estaran claras las tarifas y horarios.

I am going to Paine Grande on November 12 and to Refugio Gray on the 13. Is there any boat to cross lake Grey from Refugio Grey on the morning of the 14 without having to go back to catch the Pehoe Catamaran? Luca.

Yes the Grey II Boat, It arrives around 13:00 to Refugio Grey and then back to Hosteria Grey. But be careful there is no easy connection from there ( Hotel Grey) to administration of the park for the regular bus. For booking the boat talk to the staff of Vertice in Refugio Grey, is not their obligation to do it, so a smile and “porfavor” would be nice. When you get to the parking lot near the Hotel Lago Grey you can ask for a transfer, or hitchhike.. or go camping to Pingo. The price for the transfer from the Hosteria to Administration last year was around $9.000 per/person. On the return the Grey II go thru the forn of Grey Glaciar.

Ante todo la página genial me has resuelto un montón de dudas, del catamarán y de como ir de Puerto Natales al parque. Y aquí van mis otras dudas, tengo pensado ir a finales de Noviembre a Torres del Paine desde el Calafate. ¿Hay autobuses que te lleven directamente o tienes que pasar por Puerto Natales obligatoriamente? ¿Sabes horarios de Calafate a Puerto Natales, o quizá un página web donde me pueda informar?
¿Suele haber camas libres en Paine Grande o es mejor reservar?
Y la ultima pregunta es si sabes los horarios de los autobuses que vayan de Puerto Natales a Punta Arenas? (Es para ir después a Ushuaia)
Se que son muchas preguntas…de antemano muchas gracias por las respuestas que puedas darnos !!!

Hola, Gracias!!!. Hay buses directos desde Calafate… Calafate Travel o Always Glaciars, pero creo que llegando a Calafate lo puedes organizar mejor. Son siempre en la mañana y llegas pasado medio dia. Es mejor reservar para Paine Grande ventas@verticepatagonia.cl. Los buses de Natales a Punta Arenas estan saliendo cada una hora. La compañia que va a Ushuaia es Bus Sur.

Entonces si llegan a mediodia (entiendo que son las 12:OO) Nos daría tiempo a contratar el catamarán a Paine Grande de las 12:00 o el de las 18:00 en caso de que se retrasase el bus, no?? Sabes alguna pagina web de Calafate travel o Always Glaciars, las he buscado en internet pero no he logrado encontralo.
Los buses a Punta Arenas hasta que hora salen? saldría uno a las 19:00 horas por ejemplo o ya es muy tarde?

El que dice ” From Paine Grande ” es la salida desde P.G. hacia Pudeto. De pudeto a Hosteria Grey, puedes caminar hacia el Refugio GRey y tomar la Grey II ( Barco ) que sale a las 13:00 app desde el Refugio a la Hosteria o bien, ir en algun tipo de transporte desde pudeto a la hosteria por el camino principal.
