Hola Ezra, You want to know for this time of the year? or in the Summer season?. Is correct that that bus leaves at 13:00 from Laguna Amarga the only stop that have is in Pudeto where the people that have just cross the 12:30 catamaran have arrive. Last season 2009-2010 was clp $ 11.000 ow clp $ 18.000 rt.
de nada!

Una pregunta para vos -

Are there regular buses that travel around (within) TDP that one can take? I was told a bus left from Administracion at 1pm headed for Laguna Amarga. If so, can you tell me where the stops are for this bus, what the times are for each stop, and what the prices are?

Muchas gracias!

Hola!, The best place is to leave it on the Amarga Entrance just pass the rangers entrance on the left there is a parking place. Small still with grass not on the right where all the buses stop. Say to the ranger that you are going to return to pick up the car in x more days. The bus from Pudeto to Amarga is $ 2.000 and they are waiting at the midday and afternoon catamaran at the other side. Is not bad also, according to your time, drive around the park the first day if it's nice, and then leave in pudeto about 18:00 so you can take that bus, and then the shuttle to Las Torres, where you can camp or stay at the refugio. Highly recommend the lookout after Salto Grande, Mirador los Cuernos, you would see most of the W Circuit.

The park is very safe, no problem with that. Just check the locks of the door and the lock of the extra wheel if it is outside. And leave some delicious things back in the car that you dont want to carry...well deserved treat after the hike!!
Happy trails and blue skies!!

Hi,
we want to start the W at Laguna Armaga and will return from Paine Grande by catamaran to Pudeto. Where is the better place to leave the car regarding bus connection and safety?
It'd be great if you could help us out,

Marianna, Just the normal regular bus that departs 7:30 am Buses Gomez or JB. Some of them go to pick you up at the hostel. And also you can buy it directly where you are staying this season is between $12.000 r/t to $15.000 r/t
un abrazo

Ok. That's the final answer.
I think we follow your suggestion and start the W Circuit form Refugio Las Torres.
After hhiking the W Circuit, if we leave in the morning from Refugio Paine Grande, then pick up some luggage in Refugio Las Torres, will we catch a bus at 15.30 in Laguna Amarga for El Calafate?
Thank you very much for your help,
Francesca

So there is no direct bus from Punta Arenas to Torres del Paine National Parks?
We would like to leave Punta Arenas early morning and arrive at Laguna Amrga at 2 pm the sme day. Do you think is it possible anyway?
Thank you,
Francesca
